Open Monday - Friday, 8am to 10pm, Elkhart General's Health Information Center can help you with all your health concerns, from medical questions to physician referrals to information on hospital services. 

Health Concerns

When you have a health question or suspect something may be wrong with you or a family member, call the Heath Information Center and talk to a Registered Nurse. They will evaluate your problem, assess your symptoms, and make recommendations. In addition to their training and work experience, the nurses use a medically approved, computerized database to answer all manners of health questions and concerns.

Physician Referrals

Our nurses can refer you to exactly the kind of doctor you want: specialty, location, office hours, board certifications, insurance plans accepted, and more. Detailed information on more than 250 physicians is just a phone call away.

Questions about Elkhart General

Our nurses can give you information about the hospital's many programs and services, from wellness classes to cancer treatments to upcoming special events. They also can help you find the appropriate community agency or service for your particular need.
