Volunteers Recognized by Elkhart General Hospital Auxiliary

ELKHART, IN – At their recent Annual Meeting, the Elkhart General Hospital Auxiliary recognized volunteers for their years of dedicated service. Incoming officers were also introduced.

Pat Robertson and Jan Elliott, EGH Auxiliary, honored 45 year veteran Pat Barden. Doris Rody, Auxiliary President, and Mary Alice Plymale, Past President, installed 7 new Auxiliary officers. New officers include Pat Robertson, Registrar, Mary Gard, Heart City Health Center Chair, Luanne Combs, Gift Shop, Paula Checkley, PAT Tours, Bob Herrold, Newsletter, Audrey Shaffer, Junior Auxiliary, and Lucille Johnson, Critical Care.

More than 48,000 hours of hospital volunteer work was contributed by the Auxiliary’s 300 active members in 2006. Money raised by volunteer activities goes towards the purchase of hospital equipment.
