Renowned Chef to Present Cooking Demonstration at Elkhart General

Elkhart, IN - World-class chef Sebastian Swales will be visiting Elkhart General Hospital to prepare a culinary delight for patients as well as furnish a free, first-class cooking demonstration for the public.

The public is invited to attend a cooking demonstration by Swales at noon Thursday, May 15 in the Hospital Auditorium. The “show dishes” will be Chicken Roulade with Aubergine Caviar (chicken breast stuffed with sundried tomatoes, basil, feta cheese and walnut).

A British citizen currently residing in Sweden, Swales is an executive chef for a new 1,000-passenger European cruise ship. He is a former palace chef of Queen Noor of Jordan and has also served as personal chef to the American Ambassador to England. He has participated in several U.S. Presidential galas, including the 50th anniversary of NATO in 1999.

Unless on a restricted diet, inpatients at Elkhart General will also be treated to Four Spice Filet of Beef, Caramelized Endive, Black Pepper and Truffle Cappuccino, and Potato Terrine.
