Identity Theft to be Discussed at Farmers Market

ELKHART, IN - Elkhart General is offering a free seminar titled “Identity Theft and Scams” on Thursday, October 8th at noon. The seminar will be held in the Healthy Lifestyle Corner on the 2nd Floor of the American Countryside Farmers Market in Elkhart.
Detective Al Mackowiak of the Goshen Police Department and Martha Packer, Director of Loss Prevention at Interra Credit Union, will explain identity theft and how to protect yourself from becoming a victim. They will also provide information on the local scams that are affecting the community.
