Emergency Medical Techinician Course through Elkhart General

ELKHART, IN – Elkhart General is offering an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course beginning August 11, 2009. Gain the concepts, information and skills you need to safely assess and treat patients in pre-hospital emergency situations. Training includes classroom instruction as well as clinical rotations in the Elkhart General Emergency Department and in an emergency ambulance. After completion of this program you will be eligible to take the National Registry/Indiana State Written and Practical Exams.

The EMT course meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays until February 2010 and will be held at the Elkhart General Health Education Center located behind the Applebee’s on US 33 in Goshen.

All inclusive course cost is $625 which includes textbook, workbook, and clinical supplies. Payment options are available.
