Elkhart General Opens New Family Practice, Bittersweet Medical Associates

GRANGER, IN – Bittersweet Medical Associates, an affiliate of Elkhart General Hospital is now open. This beautiful, new office promotes an enjoyable patient experience where the latest innovative technology in Electronic Patient Records, as well as office equipment, is utilized to improve quality and safety of patient care.

Mark Schmeltz, D.O., board certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment is accepting new patients at Bittersweet Medical Associates. He earned his degree in Osteopathic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Medicine, Pennsylvania and completed his Family Medicine residency at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in South Bend, Indiana. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
