Elkhart General Hospital to Hold Diabetes Seminar
December 19, 2005
ELKHART, IN – A free public seminar titled “Guidelines for Diabetes and Over-the-Counter Cold Medicines” will be presented at 7:00pm on Thursday, January 5, 2005 in the Elkhart General Hospital Auditorium A.
Deborah Malone, RPh, Elkhart General Pharmacist, will review the guidelines for over-the-counter cough and cold remedies for the individuals with diabetes. Although uncommon, interactions involving Over-the-Counter drugs and supplements can produce unwanted results or make medicines less effective. It’s especially important to know about drug interactions if you’re taking prescription and OTC drugs at the same time. Following the presentation there will be a question and answer session.
This program is free and open to the public. No registration required. For more information, call (574) 296-6555.
