Elkhart General Hospital to Hold Diabetes Seminar

ELKHART, IN – A free public seminar titled “Healthy Food Choices for your Heart when you have Diabetes” will be presented at 7:00pm on Thursday, February 2, 2006 in the Elkhart General Hospital Auditorium A.
Melissa Freer-Smith, Elkhart General Registered Dietitian, will present information on how to prepare heart healthy meals. She’ll discuss appropriate portion sizes and the importance of selecting the right ingredients. There will be a question and answer session following the presentation.
