Elkhart Clinic’s Heart Health Fair Offers Free Screenings

ELKHART, IN – A Heart Health Fair featuring free screenings and health information will be held on Saturday, February 26 from 8:00 am to noon at the Elkhart Clinic.

Healthcare Professionals will provide screenings, offer health tips and answer questions. Free screenings will include: blood pressure, body fat analysis and body mass index, nonfasting total cholesterol and glucose. Four 15 minute heart care seminars will begin every hour and will be presented by Elkhart Clinic Cardiologists Dr. Luisito Gonzales, MD, Timothy Slaven, DO, Thomas Nolan, MD, and Nurse Practitioner Karen James, NP. 

Guests can register to win various prizes, including a free EKG test and a home blood pressure monitor. The first 25 people in attendance will receive a pedometer.

The Heart Health Fair is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided. Registration is not required. Call (574) 296-3466 for more information.
