Elkhart General's EMS education program has been certified by the Indiana Public Safety Training Institute and one of five in the State that is Nationally Accredited through the Committee on Accreditation on Allied Health Education Programs. This is including classroom, hospital clinical and field education. Our certified professional educators can prepare you to become:
The paramedic course can now lead to an Associate's Degree in Emergency Medical Services from Vincennes University, enabling students to compete for management and supervisory positions.
This class targets all lay rescuers, such as school-aged children and families members of patients who are at risk of sudden cardiac death. Students will be issued a course participation card.
