  Staffed around the clock with board-certified emergency physicians and registered nurses trained in emergency care procedures, the department is equipped to handle everything from minor injuries to major trauma and cardiac emergencies.
• EMS Education
  Have you been considering a career in emergency medical services? Would you like to learn basic CPR for your family's safety? Do you need a First Responder in your work place?
  
  Elkhart General's EMS education program has been certified by the Indiana Public Safety Training Institute and one of five in Indiana that is nationally accredited through the Committee on Accreditation on Allied Health Education Programs.
