"Do You Know Your Medical History?"

Description

Mary Ann Lienhart-Cross, Purdue University Extension Educator, will present a free public workshop "Do you know your medical history?"

She will review how you can become an informed medical consumer and how to prepare for your doctor's appointments.  She will also show you how to properly use medical record-keeping forms and will supply each attendee with take-home samples of these necessary forms.

"You should consider this project to be a long term one, because good self-care is important for the rest of your life," states Mary Ann.  "I'll teach you how to stay well and be active on your own behalf.  When it comes to your own health care, it's important that you know as much as you can."
